Andrew Garfield is back in action as the beloved web-slinging superhero, Spider-Man. After a five-year hiatus, the actor is returning to the role in the upcoming film, Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Garfield first donned the iconic red and blue suit in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man, and reprised the role in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2. After the second film, the franchise was rebooted with Tom Holland taking over the role in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War.
Now, Garfield is back in the role for the third installment of the franchise. The film is set to be released in December 2021 and will feature Garfield alongside Holland and Zendaya, who will reprise their roles as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and MJ, respectively.
The film will also feature a star-studded cast, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Jamie Foxx, Alfred Molina, and Alfred Molina. The plot of the film is still under wraps, but it is rumored to involve multiple versions of Spider-Man from different universes.
