On April 12th 2021, Marvel Entertainment announced that its plans for a series of new video games have been put on hold until further notice. This news follows the recent cancellation of a game code named ‘Project Avengers’, which was set to be the company’s first big title to hit consoles in 2022.
The development team behind ‘Project Avengers’ had been looking to create a cooperative action-adventure game featuring a mix of Marvel’s popular characters, including Captain America, Iron Man, and Thor.
